Welcome to Riverlake Kayaks... and come have an adventure on Estacada Lake in Estacada, Oregon (about 20 minutes outside Portland.)

 

We can currently accomodate up to 4 people at a time and kayak rentals are only $10 for all day.  For most people that means about 3 hours on the lake but timing is up to you.   We provide paddles, life jackets, and some super soft cushions for long trips in the kayak.  Our landing is 30 seconds from our home at the end of a short trail to the lake.

 

Estacada Lake is part of the Clackamas River System and is dammed so it presents 2-1/2 mile stretch of river that functions like a lake without a noticeable current.   Floating travel moves less than 1 mile per hour... so we provide nice paddles so you can decide how fast you want to move.  This lake offers two boating and fishing docks at one end and complete serenity with lack of humans anywhere at the other end.  One half of this stretch is in a canyon with high cliffs, caves, wildlife (eagles, hawks, otters, ducks, geese, big fish, more) and the other half is wide and shallow like the Mississippi River.  There are many places to go ashore and many places to swim safely and to explore.
